Itinerary
Your English Speaking guide will meet you on the dock and transfer you by air-conditioned vehicle for about 1.5 hours to the rose red city of Petra, a must-see in the Middle East. With your English speaking guide walk through the 1.2km-long Siq to reach the city of Petra, passing the remains of Nabataean shrines, water channels, wall carvings and some of the original paving stones. See the magnificent Treasury as you exit the Siq; investigate the Street of Facades, the Theatre, Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street, Byzantine Church, Winged Lion's Temple, Qasr al Bint, and the Petra Museum. Return to the town of Wadi Musa near the entrance gates for Meet with your Driver.
Have a Lunch at Local Restaurant in Petra.
Then drive to Wadi Rum a protected area covering 720km2 of dramatic desert wilderness in the south of Jordan. Have a jeep tour is the best way to discover lots of sites in Wadi Rum. The jeep will stop at each site giving you time to walk/scramble around and maybe even climb up on some of the beautiful natural formed bridges in Wadi Rum. At the conclusion of your tour, meet with your driver for the return journey to Aqaba.
